In the 25 years since its establishment in 1993, NCAPEC – which now counts 50 top U.S. companies on its Board – has emerged as a leading advocate for free trade, open markets, and regional cooperation.
NCAPEC’s 25th Anniversary provides a unique opportunity to highlight the important role that the U.S. business community has played and continues to play in APEC, particularly as traditional approaches to trade agreements are being challenged.
NCAPEC will mark its 25th Anniversary by celebrating its accomplishments and charting the course ahead through several policy-focused events in the U.S. and Asia, as well as commemorative festivities that kicked-off in Port Moresby at the 2018 APEC Leaders’ week meetings and conclude in Santiago, Chile during the 2019 APEC Leaders’ Week meetings in November.
